H.E. Dr. KAO Thach, has presided over the 47th ADFIAP Annual Meetings

H.E. Dr. KAO Thach, Royal Government Delegate in charge as Chief Executive Officer of Agricultural and Rural Development Bank (ARDB), accompanied by H.E. Deputy CEO, ARDB Senior Advisor, ARDB Technical Advisor, and colleagues, has presided over the 47th ADFIAP Annual Meetings with more than 400 participants from more than 40 countries who are the ADFIAP members, representative from developing partners, representative from private sector, and other relevant stakeholders, on May 15th 2024 at Sofitel Hotel Phnom Penh. This 47th ADFIAP Annual Meetings has comprised by three main meetings including: (1) A meeting under the topic “DFIs’ Role in Sustainable Finance Ecosystem: Cultivating a climate-smart and sustainable future”; (2) 96th ADFIAP Board of Directors Meeting; (3) General Assembly. During this occasion, H.E. Dr. KAO Thach has highlighted the challenges of climate change which is one of the major global challenges, and H.E. Dr. calls for Development Financing Institutions and all relevant stakeholders to put more attention on this issue, join hand together to combat this issue, as well as increase green financing portfolio.
