Agricultural and Rural Development Bank (ARDB) organized the ADFIAP specialized training program

Phnom Penh: On August, 26th, Agricultural and Rural Development Bank (ARDB) organized the ADFIAP specialized training program on “Sustainable Reporting and Management (SRM) “Integrating sustainability into corporate DNA.” , under the honor presidency H.E. Dr. KAO Thach, Royal Government Delegate in charge as Chief Executive Officer of the Agricultural and Rural Development Bank (ARDB).
The event attended by Enrique I. Florencio, Secretary General of the Association for Development Finance in Asia and the Pacific (ADFIAP), Sandra Honrado, Team Leader of the ADFIAP and members, and the ADFIAP Secretariat.
H.E Dr. KAO Thach expressed his optimism that during the four-days ADFIAP Specialized Training Program, will inspire our managements and ARDB Senior Officers, increase awareness of sustainability reporting, management and capacity following the bank’s vision. And integrating the implementation of sustainability into a meaningful sustainability report in line with the Bank’s vision.
For the principles and implementation which have been discussed during the training can be applied by including in decision-making processes and daily main tasks of each department as well.
In addition, the action plan and knowledge transferring that gained from this training will provide to other staffs in order to achieve the common goals and visions.
H.E also considered the current ADFIAP Specialized Training Program as the evidence of the relationship between ARDB and ADFIAP and thanked for supporting, and the progress leadership in promoting sustainable development across all the regions, especially, in rapid economic development, world and communities that facing on environmental concerns . Be informed that, Sustainability is the goal that ARDB is committed in 10-years roadmap (2024-2033), to being a “Leading sustainable financial institution focused on the development of rural agriculture and the green sector in Cambodia.”
