Senior Officer, Green Loan Underwriting and Portfolio Management

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure green loans evaluation align with green loan policy.
  • Manage green loan portfolio and classify loan in term of Environmental and Social Impacts
  • Collaborate with Risk Management Department to manage credit risk within green loan portfolio.
  • Daily monitor and act on overdue loans in order to find out and/or solve problems in a timely manner to avoid becoming a late payment.
  • Participate to develop the cost structure of investment projects using green technology by comparing with the cost structure of investment projects that do not use green technology to basically review and consult with target customers on green credit.
  • Meet with customers to gather financial information and other related information as well as explain type and eligibility criteria of green loan to customers.
  • On-site visit, monitor and verify information, and prepare Site Visit Report.
  • Verify and evaluate the client’s green loan documents to assess the repayment capacity, the quality of the collateral and other criteria in accordance with the principles and procedures of the green loan and related principles.
  • Daily monitor and act on overdue loans to find out and/or solve problems in a timely manner to avoid becoming a late debt.
  • Supervise the implementation of the client obligations as per loan agreement, and in case of non-compliance, send the case file to the Legal Affairs and Compliance Department to take further action as per procedure.
  • Coordinate the negotiation of the terms in the loan agreement between the Legal Affairs and Compliance Department and the client.
  • Support the clients in loan application.
  • Collaborate with Risk Management Department to manage green lending risk threshold as per risk management policy.

Qualifications and competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree of Banking and Finance, Accounting, Business administration or related fields.
  • At least 2 years experiences, especially in the banking sector
  • English proficiency (can write, read, listen, and speak)
  • Microsoft office (Words, Excel, Power Point)
  • Internet & Email
