H.E. Dr. KAO Thach, have conducted site visit on the first stage pilot project of growing fragrant rice

H.E. Dr. KAO Thach, accompanied by H.E. Deputy CEO and colleagues, have conducted site visit on the first stage pilot project of growing fragrant rice which yields around 7.5 tons per hectare, on the arable land approximately 350 hectares, by adapting the modern agricultural technology, owned by Guangxi Heng Baofeng Agricultural Development Company. The company plans to conduct the second stage pilot in the dry season, and if it yields the same, the company is planning to expand the arable land to 1 500 hectares. In the same day, H.E. Dr. and colleagues have also continued visiting freshwater lobster ponds, owned by Guangxi Heng Baofeng Agricultural Development in Baray District, Kompongthom Province on 5th of September 2022.
