H.E. Dr. KAO Thach, visit the rice field under Thai Rice Nama Project, under GIZ fund, in Suphaburi Province, in Thailand

Suphaburi, Thailand: H.E. Dr. KAO Thach, Royal Government Delegate in charge as Chief Executive Officer of Agricultural and Rural Development Bank (ARDB) has led colleaguges to visit the rice field under Thai Rice Nama Project, under GIZ fund, in Suphaburi Province, in Thailand, organized by Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC) on May 30 2024. Agricultural cooperatives who are implementing this project has shared their experience and techniques of low-carbon emission rice production by illustrating that this techniques can reduce the greenhouse gas emission, redcuce production cost, and increase revenue. Specifically, within 1 rai of land ( appr. 0.16 hectar) can yield around 1000 kilogram with the production cost of 500 Thai Bath as well as 25-45 kilogram of rice seed. These agricultural cooperatives have also expressed their happiness and willingess to protect our environment.
