In the afternoon of May 13, 2022, ARDB Bank organized a signing Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) ceremony on the use of the services of ARDB Bank for mobilization and charitable contribution to the Kantha Bopha Foundation of Cambodia between the Kantha Bopha Foundation of Cambodia and the ARDB Bank, presided by His Excellency Dr. Kao Thach, Royal Government Delegate in charge of Chief Executive Officer of the ARDB Bank and His Excellency Dr. Chorn Narith, Undersecretary of State, Ministry of Economy and Finance, Secretary General of the National Council for Social Protection and Chairman of the Secretariat of the Kantha Bopha Foundation of Cambodia.
On the occasion of the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding, HE Dr. He said that the donation with the Kantha Bopha Foundation is in line with the vision and mission of social development. In particular, ARDB Bank is a state-owned bank and focuses on social development by providing low-interest, non-profit agricultural loans to the agricultural sector. In addition, all ARDB employees must have a vision to participate in social development, not just personal interests. In fact, all levels of staff at ARDB have contributed their own funds to the Kantha Bopha Foundation through ARDB.
This Memorandum of Understanding is made to confirm the willingness of both parties to cooperate to strengthen and expand the possibility of collecting charitable contributions to the Kantha Bopha Foundation of Cambodia to contribute to ensuring the sustainability of health services at Kantha Bopha Hospital.
